Analysis Plan TitleThe impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lifestyle habits and practice of physical activity of Canadian university students: results of the iCARE study
Analysis Plan DescriptionThe objective of this project will be to highlight and analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the behavior of Canadian university students regarding lifestyle habits and the practice of physical activity using the data obtained by eight Canadian representative surveys (waves 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 14) completed between April 2020 and December 2021 as part of the International COVID-19 Awareness and Responses Evaluation (iCARE) study. The impact of the pandemic on the students health behavior will be assessed and compared between all waves.The concerns of the students regarding their physical and mental health will be assessed and compared between all waves. Descriptive statistics will be used to describe the population. Ordinal logistic will be used to study the students actions towards their health behavior during the pandemic. Ordinal logistic will be used to study the students visions of the pandemic on their physical and mental health. The changes in regards of the quality of life during the eight waves will be added to the models.
