| Analysis Plan Title | Trends in public trust in the providers of health information in Ireland and Canada: A comparison of credible sources from 2020-2025 in the iCARE study |
| Analysis Plan Description | The main analysis reports the percentage of eligible participants who responded ‘I trust to a great extent’ for each of the four items: (i) My local health/public health authorities, (ii) My doctor or healthcare professional, (iii) The World Health Organization (WHO) and (iv) Scientists and Scientific Organisations for both the Ireland and Canada representative data sets. Trends in the proportion of people endorsing ‘I trust to a great extent’ for each item across survey waves were examined using survey-weighted logistic regression with year treated as a continuous predictor. |
