| Analysis Plan Title | Level of trust in information sources and adherence to COVID-19 related preventive health behaviours among pregnant women |
| Analysis Plan Description | This analysis plan aims to evaluate to what extent trust in local health authorities and national/regional leaders influences compliance with COVID-19 preventive measures. It will include data from survey 5 to survey 15 that were captured from September 15, 2020, to January 11, 2022. It included participants aged 15 years or older from all the participant countries. The trust in the sources of COVID-19 information will be dichotomized. The preventive behaviours that will be assessed are wearing a face mask in indoor spaces; staying at least 6 feet away from other people; avoiding social gatherings; and self-isolating if having the virus. Logistic regression models will be developed to evaluate the association between trusting in local health authorities’ information and national/regional leaders’ information (independent variable) and practicing preventive behaviors (dependent variable) while adjusting for covariates (country SDI, age, education, income, having a chronic disease or mental disorder and COVID-19 related beliefs). |
